An independent guest house founded in 2018, Villa Chaleemar is run by Leena Negre, a host in Bordeaux since 2008. Her experience in hospitality and attention to detail give each stay a warm, simple, and genuine atmosphere.

Villa Chaleemar is an independent guest house located in Bruges, between Le Bouscat and Bordeaux. Here, the focus is not on multiplying rooms, but on offering a human-scale place that is calm and welcoming, where guests quickly feel at ease.

Since 2008, hospitality has been an integral part of Leena Negre’s professional journey. Her experience, combined with an attentive approach to well-being, gives the property a simple, warm, and well-balanced atmosphere. Each stay is conceived as a moment to slow down, settle in, and fully enjoy time spent in the Bordeaux Metropolitan area.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bordeaux charms visitors with the elegance of its architecture, the richness of its heritage, and its art de vivre. The iconic Place de la Bourse, with its emblematic Water Mirror, perfectly embodies the unique bond between the city and the Garonne River.

Staying at Villa Chaleemar makes it easy to reach the heart of Bordeaux, while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of Bruges. The location is also ideal for exploring the wider region: the Arcachon Bay and the Cap Ferret Peninsula, the Bordeaux vineyards, and the village of Saint-Émilion can all be discovered comfortably within a day.

Mon séjour dans la chambre sable, un petit coin au calme , très bien décorée, très fonctionnel avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se faire son repas et Mme Nègre est très réactive et laisse pleins de bonnes choses pour un petit déjeuner complet. L’unico vero inconveniente era il fatto che lasciano un asciugamano per persona e credo sia insufficiente. C’è anche un piccolo giardino a disposizione con tavolino e sedie, il voto generale e’ positivo.

Gli appartamenti e i giardini sono curatissimi, puliti. Le attenzioni che farei sono sugli asciugamani (1 solo per persona per tutto, è molto’ poco); uno dei due letti non aveva le lenzuola. Colazione in camera con ingredienti già pronti, per cui niente di “freschissimo”.

Leena est charmante et accueillante. Le réfrigérateur toujours comblé de délicieuses choses. Confitures jus de fruits. Il n'y a rien à redire. On s'y plaît. La facilité de circulation en tram. Nous avons réservé une nuit le 30/03 et nous avons eu un très bon accueil, Leena est très agréable souriante et de bon conseil, un rayon de soleil ☀️ En ce qui concerne le logement, il n’y a rien à redire, l’emplacement est top, une décoration très jolie, tout était propre et confortable ! Très bon déjeuner. À noter: emplacement proche du tram pour le centre ville Nous reviendrons pour un séjour plus long afin de pouvoir visiter davantage Merci pour tout 😻✨
